KASO Mall is one of the first and largest shopping centers in Iraq. Built in 2010, the seven-story mall covers a total built-up area of 42,000 m² on a site of 5,000 m² in the Sulaimaniyah Province. It was inaugurated by the Kurdish Regional Government Prime Minister, Dr. Barham Salih.
As one of the region’s pioneering malls, KASO Mall has played a vital role in stimulating the local trade movement and boosting the province’s economy. Since its opening, it has attracted government and administrative officials as well as thousands of citizens.
